IT Manager

MedTech IT Solutions LLC OPC is looking for an experienced and technically strong IT Manager to manage our IT support operations, engineering team, client infrastructure, cybersecurity requirements, and healthcare IT projects in Abu Dhabi.

The candidate must be hands-on technically and capable of managing both the IT team and critical client escalations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise IT engineers and daily support activities.
• Assign and monitor service calls, client visits, projects, and technical tasks.
• Handle escalated technical issues and provide hands-on troubleshooting when required.
• Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and user access.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Outlook, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
• Configure and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls, VPN, VLAN, NAT, routing, switches, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
• Manage servers, RAID, NAS, backups, disaster recovery, and virtualization environments.
• Monitor endpoint security, antivirus/EDR, patching, firewall logs, backups, and system security.
• Support desktops, laptops, printers, CCTV, telephony, and other IT infrastructure.
• Plan and implement IT infrastructure for new clinics and offices.
• Coordinate with EMR vendors, ISPs, Microsoft, CCTV vendors, and other third-party service providers.
• Support healthcare IT environments, including EMR servers, databases, and Malaffi-related infrastructure.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, network diagrams, access records, technical documentation, and service reports.
• Conduct infrastructure assessments, cybersecurity checks, security hardening, and risk identification.
• Support ADHICS Version 2.0 technical control implementation, evidence preparation, CAPA, mock audits, and audit readiness.
• Assist clients during ADHICS/AAMEN/Tasneef technology audits when required.
• Ensure proper implementation of access control, password policies, logging, backup, network segregation, and other security controls.
• Review engineers' work and ensure proper documentation and closure of support requests.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance activities for AMC clients.
• Communicate professionally with clinic management, vendors, auditors, and other stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in UAE healthcare IT, medical centers, clinics, pharmacies, EMR/HIS systems, Malaffi, ADHICS Version 2.0, AAMEN, Tasneef audits, ISO 27001, cybersecurity audits, or CAPA will be a strong advantage.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant IT experience.
• Team leadership or IT management experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and client-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple clients and technical projects simultaneously.
• UAE experience preferred.
• UAE driving licence will be an advantage.

Preferred certifications include Microsoft, Fortinet, CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, ISO 27001, or other cybersecurity certifications.

Important:

This is a hands-on IT Manager position. The selected candidate must be willing to troubleshoot complex technical issues, guide engineers, visit client locations when required, and take ownership of critical infrastructure, cybersecurity, and client support operations.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
