Key responsibilities

IT infrastructure management

* Plan, install and maintain servers, workstations, laptops, printers, UPS units and other IT

hardware across all group companies.

* Maintain the server room and network cabinets, including power backup, cooling and cable

management.

* Run regular backups and test data recovery for critical systems, including Tally accounting data.

* Monitor system health and fix hardware faults quickly to minimise downtime.

Networking

* Design, install and manage LAN, WAN and Wi-Fi networks, including hotel guest Wi-Fi

* Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, access points and VPNs.• Manage internet service providers, bandwidth, failover links and IP addressing.

* Apply network security: firewall rules, VLANs, access control, password policies and antivirus.

CCTV and security systems

* Plan and install CCTV systems (IP cameras, NVR/DVR) at hotels, supermarkets, depots,

warehouses and construction sites.

* Configure remote viewing for management and maintain recording and storage retention.

* Carry out preventive maintenance and repair of cameras and related security equipment.

Software installation and support

* Install, configure and update operating systems, Microsoft Office, Tally, POS systems, hotel

software and other business applications.

* Manage software licences, user accounts, email and access rights.

* Provide first- and second-level support to staff, on site and remotely.

IT purchasing and asset management

* Prepare specifications and compare quotes for IT hardware, accessories and software from local

and international suppliers.

* Recommend cost-effective purchases and follow up deliveries and warranties.

* Keep a complete IT asset register: item, serial number, user, location, purchase date and

warranty.

* Control stock of IT accessories and spare parts, and manage the disposal of old equipment.
