IT Meditech Systems Specialist PERM - CO

Key responsibilities

• Meditech Expanse ownership: Lead application priorities, decisions, and product improvements.
• Technical support: Troubleshoot EHR issues and respond to service desk requests.
• System upgrades: Coordinate patches, updates, testing, and implementations.
• Clinical user training: Train physicians and healthcare professionals on EMR workflows and standards.
• Incident management: Resolve application incidents and coordinate with vendors for critical issues.
• Application testing: Validate enhancements, bug fixes, and system changes.
• Workflow optimization: Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to improve efficiency.
• Data integrity: Help maintain accurate clinical and administrative records.
• Stakeholder communication: Bridge IT teams, clinical users, physicians, and hospital operations.
• Application lifecycle management: Maintain the application portfolio and contribute to long-term system planning.

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands-on Meditech Expanse EHR experience in acute-care and/or ambulatory settings.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Sciences, Information Systems, IT, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare IT.
• Experience supporting and training physicians and other EMR users.
• Strong troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Experience with workflow improvements, application testing, and stakeholder management.

Pay: $48.00 - $60.00 per hour
