Our client: An industry leading client at the forefront of enabling digital transformation within mining, rail and energy industry sectors.

The role: We are seeking an IT/ OT technology focused professional with a track record of influencing strategy and shaping technology direction within complex operational environments.

 

Required experience:

• Extensive strategy, leadership technology, architecture or senior consulting experience within industries including mining, rail AND/ OR energy sectors
• Previous experience in roles such as Solution Architect, Lead Architect, Principal Consultant, Technology Lead or similar leadership role.
• Proven ability to connect technology solutions to broader business goals
• Demonstrated success shaping technology strategy, roadmaps or transformation initiatives.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, systems integration and solution design principles.
• The ability to assess business problems, identify root causes and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Experience in leading large, high performing teams.

Highly desirable:

• Mining, rail, energy, utilities or heavy industry experience.
• TOGAF certification or equivalent architecture framework experience.
• Cloud architecture certifications.
• Experience working across both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
• Knowledge of data platforms, industrial systems, automation technologies or operational technology ecosystems.
