IT Network Administrator

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Atleast 2 years of experience in network administration, network infrastructure, IT support, or a related technical role is preferred.
• Experience managing enterprise or organizational network environments is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting wired and wireless networks is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IP addressing and subnetting, DHCP, DNS, routing and switching, VLANs, network security, wireless networking, and network monitoring.
• Knowledge or experience with Fortinet/FortiGate, Ruijie/Reyee, MikroTik, and Cisco is highly preferred.
• Relevant networking certifications or training are an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and troubleshoot wired and wireless networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Monitor network performance, connectivity, bandwidth, and availability.
• Configure and maintain IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing, switching, and network security.
• Perform preventive maintenance and resolve network and internet connectivity issues.
• Coordinate with ISPs and network vendors for technical support, installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Support network infrastructure planning and Smart Campus/IoT technology initiatives.
• Provide technical support for computers, peripherals, and other IT equipment when required.
• Maintain network topology, configurations, inventory, incident records, and technical documentation.
• Prepare network monitoring, maintenance, and technical reports.
