Role Description This part-time remote IT Network Engineer role at Sangha DH focuses on maintaining, optimizing, and securing network infrastructure to support reliable business operations. The IT Network Engineer will configure and monitor routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, ensuring stable connectivity and performance across all systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving network issues, performing routine maintenance, and implementing changes based on capacity, security, and performance requirements. The role also involves documenting network configurations, collaborating with IT and cross-functional teams on technical initiatives, and supporting users with network-related requests. The engineer will contribute to continuous improvement by recommending enhancements, applying best practices, and staying current with emerging network technologies and security standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Network Administration skills, including configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Proficiency in Network Engineering, encompassing network design, implementation, optimization, and scalability.
• Experience with Network Security, such as access control, encryption, monitoring, and incident response.
• Advanced Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose, analyze, and resolve complex connectivity and performance issues.
• Solid foundation in Information Technology, including operating systems, cloud services, and basic server administration.
• Familiarity with common networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS) and monitoring tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent practical experience) are highly beneficial.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is a plus, with awareness of compliance and data protection standards.
