Job Summary Supermicro is looking for an IT Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain high-performing and secure network infrastructures across LAN, WAN, and wireless environments. The role also involves providing end-user IT support and collaborating with stakeholders to align network solutions with business needs. The ideal candidate brings strong networking expertise, hands-on experience with key technologies, and a service-oriented mindset.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Design, implement, optimize, monitor, and maintain local (LAN), wide area (WAN), and wireless networks to ensure maximum availability, performance, and security.
• Configure and manage routers and switches.
• Implement and maintain firewalls and VPNs.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Optimize network performance and traffic flow.
• Perform system upgrades and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align with business goals.
• Provide IT support to end users in addition to core networking responsibilities.
• Participate actively in IT-related projects

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT with a strong networking background.
• Familiar with networking protocols and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Fortinet switches and firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls, and Aruba switches.
• English is required; Dutch is a pro.
• Service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Lives relatively close to the Super Micro EMEA office.
