IT Network Engineer

Ignatek is seeking a Network Engineer to join our growing team in Southern Wisconsin. This position is responsible for supporting and improving customer IT environments, including networks, servers, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and technical projects. The ideal candidate is technically strong, customer-focused, and takes ownership of delivering an exceptional client experience while identifying opportunities to improve security, reliability, and efficiency. Ignatek's goal is to help customers leverage technology to achieve better business outcomes while continually expanding our service offerings and relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot networks, firewalls, servers, workstations, and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity, backup, cloud, and infrastructure solutions.
• Lead and assist with customer projects, upgrades, and technology deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Work directly with customers to resolve issues and provide strategic technology guidance.
• Identify risks, improvement opportunities, and additional solutions that create value for customers.
• Collaborate with the team to improve processes, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting business IT environments.
• Strong networking and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, firewalls, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn, grow, and take ownership.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
