IT Officer

About the role

To make sure the company's computers, internet, network, systems, and IT equipment work properly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's computer network and internet.
• Set up computers, printers, Wi-Fi, routers, and other IT equipment.
• Monitor the network and fix connection problems.
• Manage user accounts, passwords, and system access.
• Make sure company data and systems are protected.
• Check and maintain servers and other IT systems.
• Make regular backups of important company data.
• Solve computer, network, and system problems for staff.
• Install and update software and system programs.
• Monitor IT equipment and report any problems to management.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in network and system administration is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, servers, Wi-Fi, routers, and network systems.
• Able to troubleshoot computer and network problems.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to support IT problems outside normal working hours when necessary.
