IT Officer

QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Good problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Able to organize multiple tasks simultaneously and set fair expectations to stakeholders managing multiple deadlines

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

• WordPress and website administration
• Domain and DNS management, SSL, backups, and basic website troubleshooting.
• Web hosting management
• Website backup and restoration
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
• Cybersecurity fundamentals
• AI prompting, skills creation, and vibe coding

JOB DESCRIPTION

System Management

• Identify best-use feature requests from internal stakeholder for the continuous improvement and adaptation of the company's internal and legacy programs to rapid changing business processes
• Manage third-party integrations and all related compliances
• Create and monitor a system for security, backups, updates, and basic cybersecurity requirements.

Website Management

• Perform basic WordPress administration, troubleshooting, updates, backups, plugin management, and website maintenance.
• Manage and troubleshoot website hosting, domains, subdomains, DNS records, SSL certificates, and related configurations.
• Assist in resolving website downtime, errors, hosting issues, and other technical concerns.
• Maintain proper backups of company websites and assist with website restoration when necessary.
• Manage access to hosting accounts, domain registrars, WordPress dashboards, and other website-related platforms.
• Coordinate with Marketing or external developers for website updates and technical requirements.

AI Adaptation

• Automate reports by creating AI skills to create interfaces where internal stakeholders can interact with
• Independently review current processes to identify redundancies and nominate automations

Project Management

• Coordinate and supervise assigned IT tasks and ensure concerns are resolved within the required timeline.
• Coordinate with third-party IT vendors, hosting providers, and other technical service providers when necessary.
• Coordinate with Marketing and other departments for platform integrations and technical requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting integrations between third-party platforms, websites, forms, CRM systems, messaging tools, and other company systems.
