IT Officer

Job Summary

International Petrochemicals Limited is seeking a skilled and responsible IT Officer with hands-on experience in network management and CCTV systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable network connectivity, managing surveillance systems, and providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer networks, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi systems.
• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain CCTV surveillance systems, including IP cameras, DVRs, and NVRs.
• Ensure proper CCTV recording, camera coverage, and remote monitoring functionality.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues, hardware faults, and other IT-related technical problems.
• Monitor network performance and maintain appropriate network security measures.
• Provide technical support for computers, printers, software, email, and other IT equipment.
• Maintain records of IT equipment, network devices, CCTV systems, and maintenance activities.
• Perform routine system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT equipment repairs and technical support.
• Ensure the smooth functioning, security, and reliability of IT infrastructure and surveillance systems.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
• Relevant practical experience in network administration and CCTV systems.
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN, IP addressing, routers, switches, and network troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with CCTV installation, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with DVR/NVR systems, IP cameras, and structured cabling.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, printers, and general IT support.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with network configuration and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of network security and data backup procedures.
• Ability to work independently and handle technical issues efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
