IT Officer - Cyber Security (5-day Work)

Opened in 1998, River Trade Terminal Co. Ltd. (RTT) was the first purpose-built container terminal for handling river trade cargoes in Hong Kong. Our location in the Pearl River estuary, just to the west of Tuen Mun, positions us perfectly to handle the growing volume of these shipments within the Pearl River Delta (PRD). Our professional expertise and the exceptional quality of our services have enabled us to become the foremost logistics hub of PRD and its hinterland over the past years. We are now looking for high caliber individual to join our team.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Officer with a focus on cyber security to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of hands-on experience in cyber security, demonstrating a keen understanding of the latest threats and defense mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats.

·         Implement and manage security measures to protect the organization's data and systems.

·         Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

·         Develop and update security policies and procedures.

·         Provide training and support to staff on information security protocols.

·         Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of security practices.

·         Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

·         Provide technical support of our network or other supporting tasks assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

·         1-2 years of experience in a cyber security role.

·         Strong knowledge of network and information security systems.

·         Experience with security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·         Good sense of security in software development is preferred.

·         Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are a plus.

·         Candidate with less experience can also apply and will be considered for a junior position.
