IT operations lead (Fintech)

About the role

We are a fast-growing global fintech firm focusing on online securities trading and digital financial services. We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Lead to take charge of end-to-end IT infrastructure operation, production stability, incident management, and platform reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operation and maintenance of cloud infrastructure, servers, network, database and core trading application systems; conduct real-time monitoring, anomaly warning and performance tuning to guarantee high availability of online trading platforms under high concurrent traffic.
• Serve as the core escalation point for production faults, organize cross-team emergency response, root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident review; sort out recurring problems, formulate optimization plans and eliminate operational risks.
• Establish and iterate standardized IT operation mechanisms including change management, release governance, on-call duty, disaster recovery drills and asset management; optimize operation runbooks and improve team overall operational efficiency.
• Promote operational automation construction, automate repetitive operation and maintenance work through scripts and tools; optimize monitoring alarm systems, reduce false alarms and realize intelligent operation and maintenance.
• Cooperate with security and compliance teams to complete IT operation audit, data security control and regulatory compliance work; ensure all operational behaviors meet financial fintech industry safety and compliance standards.
• Lead and train the operation team, arrange daily work, optimize team workflow; cooperate with development, product, security and business teams to smoothly support version iteration, business launch and system upgrade.
• Assist in managing cloud resource costs and third-party operation vendors, optimize resource allocation, and balance system stability and operational cost.

About you

• 3–5 years of IT operation / SRE working experience, prior fintech, online brokerage or high-concurrency Internet platform operation experience is mandatory.
• Proficient in Linux system operation, cloud service (AWS) infrastructure management, familiar with common network, server and database troubleshooting.
• Familiar with DevOps workflow, monitoring systems and automation tools, with practical experience in operation automation transformation.
• Familiar with ITIL operation management specifications, have complete cognition of incident, problem and change management mechanisms.
• Understand basic financial technology compliance and network security requirements, able to standardize operational behaviors to meet audit requirements.
• Strong emergency response capability and pressure resistance, able to handle sudden production faults efficiently under high-traffic scenarios.
• Has team leadership experience, good cross-department communication and coordination ability, rigorous work attitude.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related majors.
