IT Operations Specialist

We are looking for an IT professional to support the effective day-to-day operation and availability of IT services, infrastructure and workplace technologies. The role combines hands-on IT operations with coordination of external service providers, infrastructure projects and continuous improvement of IT processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide employees with equipment, software packages and initial system access as requested by the CFO & COO.
• Support the optimal functionality of hardware, software, connectivity and IT systems and provide help-desk advisory to employees.
• Maintain the effective day-to-day operation and availability of IT services.
• Supervise and control IT environmental conditions.
• Continuously improve IT operations processes, procedures and standards.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents and minimize business disruption.
• Oversee the operation and reliability of core IT infrastructure, systems, networks, cloud services and workplace technologies.
• Work in cooperation with external partners, such as IT service providers and the operator of the office building, as directed by the CFO & COO.
• Coordinate infrastructure and technical projects with internal stakeholders and external service providers.
• Coordinate escalations and ensure external partners meet agreed service expectations.
• Maintain IT system-related documentation.
• Complete trainings according to the Training Plan and, if applicable, General Accommodation Training (e.g. for new entrants).
• Comply with ethical principles, regulatory requirements and regulations and standard operating procedures governing the conduct of clinical and medical device trials, as well as with policies, codes, standards and internal rules adopted and implemented by the company.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in IT operations, IT infrastructure, IT service management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud services, networking, endpoint management and enterprise applications.
• Experience managing external IT vendors and service providers.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
