IT Operations Specialist / ITAM Lead

Salary range: 2100-2350 Euros (gross). Your future duties and responsibilities

• provide onsite 2nd level support and manage day to day IT operations activities
• ensure office IT equipment is fully functional
• be responsible for hardware procurement and asset management (keep inventory up to date, track utilization, advice internal clients)
• prepare hardware for users
• advise users on appropriate course of action, support problem identification
• participate in global and regional projects (tests, communication) in various scope and technologies used
• act part time as IT Asset Management Specialist: oversee inventory of software licenses / IT assets / solutions, track compliance and act with business on detected issues, participate in software audits
• cooperate with IT teams from other countries

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• 2+ years of experience in helpdesk/service desk, 2nd line preferred, in environment with Windows 11 and MacOS systems
• Experience with hardware/software procurement (or familiarity with the general process)
• Understanding of IT networks, Intune / Active Directory and licensing models/compliance (i.e. Microsoft, Oracle)
• Ability to work with equipment in a server room – cabling of network devices, UPSs
• Solid customer service and problem solving skills
• Professional proficiency in both Latvian and English to ensure a smooth cooperation with local and international colleagues
• No physical limitations related to performed tasks work in an office environment with involvement in IT equipment support, including receiving IT device packages, moving hardware to/from desk or rack cabinet
• Very good communication skills, ability to listen, resilience to users' pressure, good work organization, high personal culture
• Ability to work independently (main and only IT person in Riga office)
• Windows Server and Linux knowledge (nice to have)
