IT Operations Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Provide end to end IT support for our corporate offices and retail stores, covering network infrastructure, hardware, POS systems, and software.
• Act as the primary point of contact for user issues, diagnosing and resolving technical problems quickly to minimize operational downtime.
• Manage external vendors and suppliers to optimize service delivery, resolve complex faults, and secure the best commercial terms for M&S Hong Kong and Macau.
• Plan, test, and deploy network hardware and software upgrades across servers and workstations.
• Partner with the Global IT Group to align local infrastructure with regional standards and future business requirements.
• Support the rollout of key IT projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget constraints.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands on experience managing Windows Servers, desktops, POS systems, Zebra devices, and network equipment (firewalls, routers, switches, and Wi-Fi).
• Direct experience supporting IT operations within a retail environment is mandatory.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot hardware and network issues independently.
• Fluent in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
• Flexibility to handle emergency support outside standard office hours, including weekends and public holidays (compensated with time off in lieu).
• CCNA certification and practical IT security experience are highly advantageous.
