About the Role

Our client is transforming its OSS ecosystem to support the migration toward FTTH and next-generation network operations. To enhance observability, operational efficiency, automation, and Zero Touch Operations, we are looking for an experienced IT OSS Service Assurance Application Expert to strengthen the OSS team.

In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of strategic OSS platforms responsible for monitoring, event correlation, alerting, automation, and operational support for fixed network services.

Key Responsibilities

As an IT OSS Service Assurance Application Expert, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and continuously improving OSS Service Assurance applications used within a telecom network operations environment.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical experts, end users, internal teams, and external vendors to deliver reliable and scalable OSS solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Gather, analyze, and challenge business requirements, translating them into functional, non-functional, and technical specifications while proposing innovative solutions.

• Design and implement OSS Service Assurance solutions in collaboration with E2E Analysts and Technical Leads.

• Configure, develop, test, troubleshoot, and optimize applications, APIs, and automation workflows.

• Produce service documentation, operational guides, and runbooks for implemented solutions.

• Provide operational support and ensure the stability and performance of OSS applications.

• Coordinate with external suppliers regarding developments, enhancements, support activities, and issue resolution.

• Perform functional and technical analysis while integrating OSS applications into the client's enterprise architecture, ensuring interoperability across multiple platforms.

• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and industry best practices in OSS, observability, automation, AIOps, and network operations.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in OSS, Telecom IT, or Service Assurance environments.

• Strong experience working in telecom OSS environments.

• Good understanding of telecom technologies, including HFC, FTTP, and IP networks.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Observability

  • Monitoring

  • Alerting

  • Automation

  • Performance and incident monitoring

• Experience with OSS Service Assurance platforms such as:

  • DataMiner (Skyline Communications)

  • NetExpert

  • ProAssure (Mycom OSI)

  • NetSphere

• Experience with AI/AIOps solutions.

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.

• Experience integrating systems through REST APIs.

• Knowledge of SNMP protocol.

• Familiarity with TM Forum standards.

Languages

• Fluent in French and English (mandatory).
