IT Planning and Demand Management Associate

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs preparatory activities in the implementation of IT special and cross-functional initiatives based on management direction and strategy-setting
• Develops and manages necessary templates and tools, process documents to facilitate the formulation of IT strategies and plans and be able to pattern them to leading industry practices
• Develops and manages necessary lean and effective processes and procedures related to the conduct of IT plans and strategies and in support of IT Governance function in the areas of Risk management, Asset Contract Management and Process & Performance Management.
• Coordinate and Collaborate with Asset Contract, Risk Management and Process Performance team of IT Governance to provide needed support in the delivery of objectives of IT Governance.
• Translates business strategy and requirements into IT capabilities and develops medium-term and annual IT plans aligned with business priorities.
• Facilitates planning, alignment, and evaluation sessions between IT and business units, including demand management and technology adoption timing.
• Conducts research and develops planning frameworks, tools, and processes aligned with industry best practices to support IT planning and execution.
• Leads and orchestrates rationalization and initiation process together with BAYAD business organizations in relation to IT medium term and annual plans
• Derives inputs to medium-term and annual project plans from Demand Management and Capacity Planning activities.
• Prepares and manages IT medium-term and annual budgets, including consolidation and submission for leadership approval.
• Monitors, analyzes, and reports IT spending, utilization, expenditures, and savings across cost centers.
• Develops and maintains financial management templates, tools, and processes aligned with industry best practices.
• Coordinates with IT, PMO, and business stakeholders to monitor project progress, delivery timelines, and overall status.
• Develops and delivers regular reporting (e.g., IT demand summaries) to provide leadership visibility on project pipelines and deployments.
• Enhances demand and capacity planning frameworks and tools to support accurate forecasting, prioritization, and resource optimization.
• Develops, enhances, and manages IT planning and governance tools, including skills baselining, document tracking, and demand/capacity planning systems.
• Designs standardized reports, dashboards, and visual communication materials to improve clarity and reporting consistency.
• Drives adoption and effective use of planning and governance tools across IT teams through structured communications and enablement materials

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of Business, Management, Finance, Economics or similar course
• Experience in business process analysis, process improvement (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, TQM) is preferred
• Exposure to IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) preferred
• Experience in project management, requirements analysis, dashboard/report development, and budget and finance management tools and systems is an advantage
• Advanced proficiency in Excel-based reporting, dashboards, and visualization techniques
• Experience in developing planning tools, trackers, and performance monitoring templates
• Ability to design executive-level reports, infographics, and communication materials
• Strong capability in demand planning, resource capacity management, and forecasting
• Comfortable with advanced technology and openness to learn new systems
• Comfortable with ambiguity and adjusts shifting priorities with appropriate sense of urgency
