IT PMO

As an IT PMO & Project Officer , you will work at the heart of a large IT organization. You will contribute to the financial and operational management of the IT portfolio, while also supporting transversal projects and initiatives across the organization.

You will work closely with IT Management, Project Managers, Finance and Business stakeholders. As you grow into the role, you will gradually take ownership of your own initiatives and build the experience to develop towards a Project Manager role .

Your responsibilities

• Contribute to transversal projects and improvement initiatives across the IT organization.
• Support the preparation and follow-up of the IT budget, forecasts and financial reporting and translate figures into useful management insights.
• Coordinate topics involving multiple teams and stakeholders and ensure decisions and actions are followed through.
• Prepare analyses, reporting and presentations to support management and governance decision-making.
• Support the broader IT portfolio , including budget, planning, resources and external consultants.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and help translate them into concrete actions.
• Gradually take more ownership of projects and initiatives, building towards end-to-end project management .

Your profile

• You hold a Master's degree in Business Engineering, Economics, Finance, Management, Engineering or a related field.
• You have around 2 to 5 years of professional experience , for example in consulting, PMO, project management, business analysis, controlling, transformation or a similar environment.
• You combine strong analytical skills with a pragmatic and hands-on mindset.
• You are proactive, curious and entrepreneurial and enjoy taking ownership.
• You are comfortable working with financial information and have an understanding of budgeting, forecasting or accounting principles.
• You communicate easily with different stakeholders and are confident in constructively challenging them when needed.
• You have a good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with SAP or reporting tools is an asset.
• You have a strong command of English.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a good understanding of French, or fluent in French with a good understanding of Dutch .
