IT Position Specialist

We are looking for a motivated, self-directed technology professional to support daily production operations. The ideal candidate enjoys solving difficult problems with a sense of urgency.

While supporting daily technology operations is an important responsibility, this role is equally focused on improving the business through automation, software development, and process optimization.

The ideal candidate is someone who constantly asks: "How can this be done better?"

Responsibilities

Internal Technology Support

• Support and troubleshoot mission-critical business applications, Windows workstations, and internal networks.
• Provide technical support to employees during normal business hours through ticketing systems, chat, phone, and email.
• Coordinate with software vendors during outages and emergency situations.
• Learn new software systems quickly and become a subject matter expert.

Data Management & Reporting

• Produce recurring operational reports.
• Perform data management tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
• Validate data integrity and investigate inconsistencies.

AI-Driven Process Automation & Development

• Develop internal workflows, scripts, and applications that improve operational efficiency using modern AI coding assistants.
• Continuously improving existing systems through AI-assisted development techniques.
• Work with other departments to improve business systems through thoughtful design.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive reporting functions.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with AI tools for troubleshooting, automation, and/or development.

• PowerShell, Python, JSON, XML, JavaScript, C#, or other scripting languages
• Structured Query Language (SQL) and relational databases
• AI-assisted software development tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.)
• Business process automation
• Microsoft 365 / Azure / Entra ID administration
• CRM systems, call center technologies, cloud infrastructure
• Firewall and network administration
• Cybersecurity concepts and regulatory compliance
