IT PRE SALES

About the role

The IT Pre-Sales professional supports the sales team by understanding client requirements, designing appropriate IT solutions, preparing technical proposals, and presenting solutions to customers. The role bridges the gap between technical requirements and business objectives, ensuring proposed solutions are technically sound, competitive, and aligned with client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings and gather technical and business requirements
• Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate IT solutions
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations, Bill of Materials (BOM), and Statements of Work (SOW)
• Design solutions involving network infrastructure, structured cabling, CCTV and security systems, data center solutions, servers and storage, routers, switches, and wireless solutions
• Conduct site surveys and prepare technical assessments
• Develop network diagrams, system architecture, and solution designs
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding product specifications, pricing, availability, and technical compatibility
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations
• Respond to RFPs, RFQs, and technical inquiries
• Provide technical consultation to clients before and during the sales process

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Experience in IT pre-sales, technical sales, system integration, or IT infrastructure is preferred
• Knowledge of networking, structured cabling, CCTV, data center, and security solutions is an advantage
• Strong understanding of IT products, technologies, and infrastructure
• Ability to read and prepare technical diagrams and specifications
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant technical/business tools
• Willing to conduct client meetings and site visits
• Willing to travel when required
