IT Procurement and Software Licensing Specialist

Key duties

• Manage software procurement, supplier coordination and licensing fulfilment for Softvire’s customers.
• Source software products, subscriptions and licences from approved vendors, distributors and authorised channels.
• Prepare purchase orders, compare supplier pricing, monitor supplier performance and follow up delivery timeframes.
• Coordinate with vendors and distributors on licence availability, renewal terms, product changes, compliance requirements and customer delivery.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier details, product codes, licence details, renewal dates and customer order information.
• Support pricing and margin control by monitoring purchase costs, vendor promotions and reseller terms.
• Assist with stockless software fulfilment, digital delivery, subscription activation and post-sale documentation.
• Work with sales, support and technical teams to ensure customers receive correct products and licences.
• Identify process improvements for procurement, order handling, renewal tracking and operational reporting.
• Prepare procurement, order status, vendor and operational reports for the Director.

Minimum requirements

Relevant NZQF Level 4 or higher qualification in software engineering, IT, business, procurement, supply chain or a related discipline;

OR

at least two years of relevant procurement, software licensing, vendor coordination or operations experience if no relevant qualification is held.

• Understanding of software licensing, vendor/distributor processes, purchase order handling and digital product delivery.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation discipline and ability to coordinate multiple orders and suppliers.
• Experience in an IT reseller, software licensing, procurement, operations or vendor-management environment will be advantageous.

Pay: $36.00 – $48.00 per hour
