As we continue our growth journey, we're looking for an experienced IT Procurement professional to join our high-performing team.

The Opportunity

As an IT Procurement Delivery Partner specialising in IT Procurement, you will work directly with EBIT clients to optimise their technology spend, improve supplier performance, and deliver sustainable commercial value.

You'll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, helping shape sourcing strategies across a broad range of IT categories, including but not limited to:

  • Hardware
  • Software Licensing
  • SaaS
  • Data Centres and Colocation Services
  • Telecommunications

You will combine procurement expertise, market insight, commercial acumen, and stakeholder influence to deliver measurable savings, risk reduction, operational improvements, and innovation.

As technology continues to evolve, including the rapid adoption of AI solutions, you'll help clients make informed commercial decisions, manage supplier risk and maximise value from technology investments.

This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple clients and industries and requires a proactive, self-driven approach to leading strategic procurement activity - from opportunity identification through to implementation and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activity for EBIT clients.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies across IT and technology categories.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise spend, improve supplier performance, and increase commercial value.
  • Conduct detailed spend and market analysis to support data-driven decision making.
  • Restructure supply bases where appropriate to improve cost, service, innovation, and risk management.

Supplier Management & Commercial Delivery

  • Lead supplier evaluation, negotiation, selection, and contracting activities.
  • Manage high-value and strategically important supplier relationships.
  • Conduct supplier performance reviews and lead issue resolution where required.
  • Deliver measurable cost savings, efficiency improvements, and broader business benefits.
  • Ensure contracts are effectively managed to minimise risk and maximise value.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders at all levels.
  • Facilitate meetings, and procurement reviews to understand business objectives and requirements.
  • Influence decision-making through clear communication, commercial insight, and subject matter expertise.
  • Provide regular project updates through reports, presentations, savings tracking, and governance forums.

Project & Pipeline Management

  • Develop and manage a robust portfolio of procurement initiatives aligned to client and EBIT objectives.
  • Maintain procurement pipelines, ensuring all relevant opportunities are identified and progressed.
  • Establish clear implementation plans, milestones, and governance processes.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, dependencies, and challenges.

Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with EBIT and client procurement policies and governance requirements.
  • Secure appropriate approvals and stakeholder sign-off throughout project lifecycles.
  • Support the implementation of new procurement strategies and ways of working.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practice across client engagements.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver and demonstrate commercial value including savings, risk reduction, service improvements and innovation.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Successfully lead multiple IT procurement initiatives simultaneously.
  • Provide market-leading insights and recommendations across technology categories.
  • Consistently receive positive client feedback and achieve high levels of client satisfaction.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Significant experience 3-5 years in a procurement role with responsibility for strategic sourcing and stakeholder management.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong drive for results.
  • Strong category expertise across multiple IT procurement areas.
  • Proven ability to engage, influence, and challenge stakeholders at executive and board level.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management experience.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Strong project management, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word, with the ability to quickly adapt to clients’ systems and processes, as well as EBIT’s own project management software.
  • Able to review contracts through the lens of a commercial procurement expert.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with a solutions-focused mindset and a strong drive to deliver results.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Highly Desirable

  • Procurement experience within Retail and/or Manufacturing environments.
  • Experience across additional indirect procurement categories such as Marketing, Facilities Management, or Logistics.
  • Previous consultancy, interim, or client-facing procurement experience.
  • MCIPS qualification.
