IT Procurement Lead -Software

For our client, we are seeking a IT Procurement Lead -Software to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This remote role will drive software and technology sourcing strategy across a complex healthcare environment. The position will lead end-to-end procurement efforts for technology-enabled services, partnering closely with senior leaders, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to shape decisions that balance cost, service quality, and operational needs. It will also manage strategic suppliers and negotiations to support long-term value creation, supplier performance, and innovation.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $115,200 – $158,400 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies and sourcing pipelines
• Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives from requirements to implementation
• Negotiate complex software and technology agreements, including pricing and service levels
• Advise senior leaders on sourcing strategies and market dynamics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support timely decisions
• Manage strategic suppliers throughout the contract lifecycle
• Deliver value through cost optimization and supplier-enabled innovation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, technology, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management
• Experience with healthcare technology solutions or complex technology in regulated industries
• Proven negotiation skills for software, SaaS, and technology-enabled services agreements
• Strong understanding of category management and supplier relationship management
• Ability to incorporate business, clinical, and regulatory considerations into sourcing decisions
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
