IT Product Owner

We are looking for a Product Owner to drive the development and evolution of our SaaS platform. You will act as the key bridge between business stakeholders and the engineering team, ensuring that product requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered effectively. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable making trade-off decisions, and is passionate about building products that users love.

Responsibilities:

• Define and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is visible, transparent, and prioritized based on business value and customer impact.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, users, and cross-functional teams to gather and translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Serve as the voice of the customer in development planning, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to deliver intuitive, user-friendly product experiences.
• Make informed trade-off decisions between scope, budget, and timeline based on business priorities.
• Monitor product performance metrics and iterate based on data, user feedback, and market trends.
• Ensure that delivered features meet defined business objectives and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate product quality, performance, and reliability.
• Document product features, processes, user guides, and testing procedures.
• Communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to stakeholders regularly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3–5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and frameworks, particularly Scrum.
• Proven experience writing user stories, managing product backlogs, and working closely with development teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and/or ClickUp.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset.
• Experience working with SaaS or digital products is strongly preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Technical background or familiarity with software development concepts (APIs, databases, CI/CD).
• Experience with data analytics tools or SQL for product decision-making.
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma for collaborating with UI/UX teams.
• Prior experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification.
