Key Responsibilities

  1. Project & Vendor Management
  • Coordinate and monitor progress with system vendors responsible for the program's IT platforms such as the Management Information System (MIS), Admissions System, Student Center, E-Library, and Website, ensuring all development and problem resolutions align with established plans.
  • Act as the key liaison with the Office of Computer Services (Kasetsart University) and external IT service providers managing servers, network, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring stable, secure, and accessible systems.
  • Schedule project status meetings and prepare reports summarizing progress, issues, and solutions for management.
  1. IT Asset & Inventory Management
  • Maintain the IT asset inventory, including computers, laptops, tablets, printers, UPS devices, and network equipment.
  • Ensure all IT equipment in classrooms, laboratories, meeting rooms, and department offices is functional and ready for use.

  • Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure compliance with regulations and maximize cost-effectiveness.
  1. User Support & Training
  • Develop user manuals, instructional documents, and video tutorials for parent-facing systems.
  • Lead annual training and orientation sessions for new students and parents on system usage.
  • Provide first-tier support for system usage and IT-related issues for project personnel.
  1. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
  • Serve as the single point of contact for all IT-related issues within the project, analyze root causes, and resolve or escalate problems to the appropriate vendor or server team.
  • Build and maintain a knowledge base of common issues and solutions to empower users to troubleshoot independently.
  1. IT Security & Policy Compliance
  • Support the implementation and communication of the program’s IT Security Policies, such as password protocols, Wi-Fi usage, and virus/malware prevention.
  • Promote cybersecurity awareness among students and staff to prevent data security risks.
  1. Reporting & Data Analysis
  • Generate reports on system performance (e.g., server uptime, user activity, common issues) to support decision-making and strategic improvements.
  • Assist in preliminary data retrieval from various systems upon request by management or departments.
  1. Technology Research & Recommendation
  • Research and stay updated on emerging educational technologies (EdTech) and innovative IT solutions.
  • Propose new ideas and projects to modernize and enhance the program’s teaching, learning, and administrative processes.

Qualifications

  1. Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  1. Work Experience
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in roles such as IT Coordinator, IT Support, Project Coordinator, or related positions.
  • Experience working in educational institutions or environments with multiple IT systems is a strong advantage.
  1. Technical Skills

  • Good command of English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Service minded, patient, and solution-oriented.
  • Proactive with strong time management and task prioritization abilities.
  • Capable of simplifying technical topics for non-technical audiences.
