IT Project Coordinator

We’re looking for an experienced IT Project Coordinator to join a leading provider of IT Project Management Services. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a hybrid working arrangement, with three days per week spent supporting clients across the Warrington and Manchester areas and two days working from home.

The Role of IT Project Coordinator

We are looking for an organised, proactive and confident IT Project Coordinator to join a friendly, high-performing team supporting the successful delivery of a fast-paced, multi-site project.

This is a client-facing role where you’ll work closely with client stakeholders, contractors and the wider project team. You’ll need to be comfortable building positive working relationships, communicating professionally and helping to keep project activity running smoothly.

No two days or sites are the same, so need somebody who is happy to get stuck in, take ownership and turn their hand to whatever needs doing. A positive, practical and flexible “can-do” attitude is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project scheduling, including site bookings, cancellations and amendments, and help resolve any issues that arise.
• Create and maintain trackers to monitor and control progress across multiple project sites.
• Liaise professionally with clients, contractors and other project stakeholders, providing updates and helping to resolve queries.
• Raise payment requests and manage orders, ensuring contractors are paid promptly once works have been confirmed as complete and to the required standard.
• Assist with the collation and issue of Pre-Construction Information (PCI) to third-party contractors.
• Accurately collect Asset Management information and ensure the Asset Management system remains up to date.
• Monitor third-party contractor qualifications and ensure relevant documentation remains current.
• Help ensure project laptops are regularly updated with required security updates.
• Provide wider project coordination and administrative support to help keep delivery on track.

About you

You will have some practical experience of supporting or coordinating technical IT projects. You will need a UK driving licence, access to a vehicle and the existing right to work in the UK, as our client is not able to provide visa sponsorship at this time.

You’ll be someone who:

• Has strong communication and stakeholder management skills and is comfortable working in a client-facing environment.
• Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Can confidently juggle multiple priorities in a busy, fast-paced project environment.
• Is proactive and willing to take ownership of problems through to resolution.
• Is comfortable coordinating with contractors, clients and internal project teams.
• Can maintain project trackers, records and systems accurately.
• Is adaptable and willing to turn their hand to different tasks as project priorities change.
• Is a genuine team player with a can-do attitude who isn’t afraid to get stuck in.
• Is able to work onsite with the client 3 days per week.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Warrington (Cheshire, North West Region)
