IT Project Delivery Manager

About the role

The IT Project Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful end-to-end delivery of IT projects, programs, and technology solutions within scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards. This role manages cross-functional teams, coordinates with stakeholders, mitigates delivery risks, and ensures that technology initiatives align with business objectives.

Generic Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of IT projects, programs, and technology initiatives from planning through implementation and closure.

• Develop and maintain project delivery plans, timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and budgets.

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional IT teams.

• Manage project scope, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.

• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery according to agreed scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

• Provide regular project status reports, dashboards, and updates to senior management and key stakeholders.

• Facilitate project meetings, governance sessions, sprint ceremonies, and stakeholder discussions when required.

• Identify potential delivery risks and implement appropriate risk mitigation and issue resolution strategies.

• Ensure effective resource allocation and capacity planning across projects and delivery teams.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in IT project or delivery management.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end IT project delivery.
• Experience leading cross-functional and technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience in stakeholder management, risk management, budget management, resource planning, and delivery governance.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, system integration, and application delivery.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
