IT Project Manager-1

For our client, we are seeking a IT Project Manager-1 to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space.

This role will lead the planning and execution of IT projects that support enterprise operations within a regulated healthcare environment. The position is responsible for establishing consistent project management practices, strengthening PMO processes, and improving visibility into project delivery across the organization. The ideal candidate will partner closely with technology and business stakeholders to drive disciplined execution, clear communication, and reliable outcomes.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $111,750 – $163,900 annually

Responsibilities

• Adhere to organizational values and regulatory requirements in all operations
• Initiate, plan, execute, and close projects using departmental methodology
• Define and implement project management methodology for consistent processes
• Establish key PMO processes and reporting for enterprise project execution
• Manage PMO office tools and processes for consistency among Project Managers
• Develop and track project plans, provide status reporting, and manage communications
• Perform additional duties as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field; Master's preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in IT, including 2-3 years in IT project management or direct supervision
• Project Management certification required, such as PMI certification
• Expertise in project management tools such as MS Project
• Understanding of ITSM frameworks and general business operations
