IT Project Manager - Cisco

Role Purpose

At TCS Peru, the Project Manager Cisco is responsible for leading multiple cross-functional teams to successfully deliver medium- to high-complexity projects, ensuring alignment with the key constraints of scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Leads and manages the full lifecycle of customer-facing projects and programs across Cisco technologies from initiation through planning, execution, and closure ensuring alignment with customer business goals and Cisco’s strategic objectives
• Accountable for the successful execution of projects/programs, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Provides regular updates to both SDMs and CXMs, ensuring transparency and alignment across delivery and customer adoption goals
• Manages project-level budget execution and ensures operational excellence by accurately reflecting projects in Cisco’s systems and tools, including financial forecasting and reporting and compliance with delivery governance standards
• Coordinates with Cisco’s vendor management teams to source bids, recommend partner selections, and create statements of work (SOW) and terms and conditions (T&Cs), while collaborating with SDMs (who retain final accountability for partner selection, SOW approval, and performance)
• Operates within industry methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile) and Cisco’s operational processes, ensuring compliance, financial responsibility, and rigorous governance through structured communications, risk/issue management, and stakeholder alignment.
• Maintains project governance by managing invoicing, payment tracking, forecasting processes, and executing change management strategies ensuring operational discipline and adherence to Cisco’s business standards

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience delivering customer-facing projects involving Cisco technologies or enterprise networking environments.
• Hands-on experience managing project budgets, financial forecasting, invoicing, and payment tracking.
• Experience creating and managing Statements of Work (SOWs), vendor coordination, and partner engagement processes.
• Advanced English proficiency is mandatory.
