IT Project Manager (Cloud project)

About the role

Lead end-to-end cloud project delivery: scope, schedule, budget, and overall execution from planning through go-live. Coordinate cross-functional teams (Cloud/Platform Engineering, Security, IT Ops, Architecture, Data teams, and business stakeholders) to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Drive cloud migration/implementation activities, including discovery, solution planning, design alignment, cutover planning, testing, and release coordination
• Own project governance: RAID management (Risks/Assumptions/Issues/Dependencies), change control, status reporting, and decision tracking
• Ensure delivery quality by defining acceptance criteria, coordinating UAT/validation, and managing release & rollback plans to minimize service disruption
• Partner with Security and Compliance to implement and verify cloud controls such as IAM, logging/monitoring, data protection, and policy adherence
• Maintain project documentation and deliverables, including project plans, technical/functional requirements alignment, and handover/stabilization plans
• Communicate clearly with senior stakeholders, providing regular updates, escalations, and mitigation plans

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3+ years of experience in project management for cloud/IT infrastructure (cloud migration, platform build, or modernization preferred)
• Strong understanding of cloud concepts and architectures (compute, storage, networking, IAM, monitoring/logging)
• Experience with project delivery methodologies (Agile/Waterfall/Hybrid), and tools such as Jira / Confluence, MS Project, or similar
• Ability to manage multi-vendor environments and coordinate technical stakeholders effectively
• Good risk management, planning, and problem-solving skills; proven ability to deliver on-time and within scope
• Knowledge of security and compliance requirements in cloud environments (e.g., SOC2/ISO27001 principles, least privilege, audit logging)
