What they need

Job Description: Technical Project Manager

Work time : Morning shift ( calls at night )

Work type : Hybrid ( Monday and Tuesday)

Mandatory Skills : Scrum master ( Release manager) + SDLC

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to drive high-impact software delivery, facilitate cross-functional team cadences, and coordinate seamless product releases. Positioned at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Operations, you will keep sprint commitments on track, clear organizational blockers, and bring operational rhythm to our development teams.

While this is primarily a delivery leadership and process facilitation role, you bring strong SDLC literacy. You understand version control workflows, testing strategies, and continuous delivery concepts well enough to collaborate effectively with Tech Leads and Senior Developers without needing to manage pipeline code yourself.

Key Responsibilities

1. Agile Facilitation & Team Flow

Drive Agile Cadences: Lead engaging, effective ceremonies, including Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.

Unblock Delivery: Proactively identify and clear process bottlenecks, cross-team dependencies, and resource constraints to protect team flow and velocity.

Delivery Insights: Monitor core flow metrics (e.g., Lead Time, Cycle Time, Velocity, Throughput, Sprint Burndown) to highlight trends and drive continuous improvement.

Team Coaching: Foster psychological safety, self-organization, and accountability across cross-functional engineering pods.

Scope Protection: Partner with Product Management to assess the impact of scope changes on committed sprint goals and protect the team from unplanned interruptions.

2. Technical Release & Workflow Coordination

Release Readiness: Partner with QA and Tech Leads to ensure compliance, testing coverage (e.g., TestRail), and sign-offs are complete before production rollouts.

Branching & SCM Literacy: Understand Git-based version control workflows (e.g., Bitbucket PRs, feature branching) to align release schedules with technical readiness.

CI/CD Alignment: Work closely with Senior Developers who manage pipeline automation to ensure smooth deployments and clear rollback plans.

Tooling Operations: Maintain clean, effective Jira boards, dashboards, and Confluence documentation space for transparent team-wide visibility.

3. AI Productivity & Innovation

Process Acceleration: Pragmatically leverage modern AI tools (e.g., Generative AI assistants) to optimize release notes, meeting summaries, process documentation, and delivery reporting.

Qualifications & Background

Education & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Agile Leadership: 3–5+ years as an Agile Delivery Lead, Scrum Master, or Technical Project Manager in a modern software environment.

Required Skills & Expertise

SDLC Literacy: Solid conceptual understanding of the software development lifecycle, containerization (e.g., Docker), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing integration.

Jira/Bitbucket Proficiency: Strong practical skills navigating Jira (building boards, filters, basic workflows) and understanding Git/Bitbucket release tagging.

Communication & Influence: Proven ability to translate engineering status into clear business insights for product stakeholders and executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications: CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certifications.

Tooling: Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail) or Atlassian release integrations.

Domain Expertise: Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and Event Management is highly desirable.
