IT Project Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Project Governance: Establish and maintain project management

standards, methodologies, and best practices.

• Project Lifecycle Management: oversee IT projects through all phases from

discovery and scope definition to development, UAT, and production

deployment using Agile, Scrum, or Hybrid methodologies.

• Lending Delivery Oversight: Coordinate the delivery of key lending

software components, including Loan Origination Systems (LOS), Loan

Management Systems (LMS), digital onboarding workflows, and decisioning

engines.

• Integration Coordination: Manage timelines and dependencies for critical

fintech integrations, such as credit bureaus, automated KYC/AML

verification providers, payment rails (ACH, RTP), and vendor AI platforms.

• Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary bridge between technical

teams (software leads, data engineers, QA) and business business units

(underwriting, risk management, legal, and compliance).

• Risk & Compliance Tracking: Identify, track, and mitigate project risks

specifically managing technical roadblocks, scope creep, and compliance

requirements inherent to financial products.

• Resource & Capacity Planning: Monitor sprint velocities, manage cross-

functional team allocations, and ensure development pipelines are

optimally resourced to meet delivery milestones.

• Proficient using enterprise PM tracking tools like Jira, Confluence, MS

Project, or Smartsheet.

• Broad conceptual knowledge of modern IT pillars, such as cloud

infrastructure (AWS/Azure), ERP, APIs, cybersecurity frameworks, or data

architectures.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business

Administration, or equivalent field.

• Preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
