IT Project Manager

This position is 4-months contract-to-hire. Stability offers medical, dental, and vision benefits if needed during the contract period.

Position Summary

We are partnering with a healthcare technology company that operates in a fast-moving, technology-driven environment. The IT Project Manager will lead initiatives across infrastructure, application development, or other areas of IT, bringing structure and clear communication to projects that may evolve as business needs change.

The ideal candidate is an organized, adaptable project manager who can establish practical processes, use Jira to keep work visible, and guide teams and stakeholders through ambiguity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects from initial planning through delivery, coordinating scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and communications.
• Manage projects across areas such as infrastructure, application development, or other technology initiatives, based on business priorities.
• Build and maintain project plans, schedules, status updates, RAID logs, and other project documentation.
• Use Jira to track work, communicate progress, manage dependencies, and keep project information current.
• Establish consistent project methodologies and processes while adapting them to the needs of each initiative.
• Work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to clarify goals, resolve blockers, and support timely decisions.
• Communicate project status, risks, and changes clearly to different audiences.
• Adjust plans as priorities shift, helping teams maintain momentum in a changing environment.

Required Qualifications

• Experience managing IT projects in infrastructure, application development, or a well-rounded mix of technology areas.
• Hands-on experience using Jira for project tracking and coordination.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, planning practices, and delivery processes.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, dependencies, and changing requirements.
• Comfort working in a startup-style or otherwise fast-changing environment where information and priorities may be ambiguous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare or healthcare technology experience.
• PMP certification or another project management certification.
