IT Project Manager - Insurance

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (PM) to join our team onsite in Jakarta for a 6-month contract with an immediate start. In this role, you will lead end-to-end IT project delivery, oversee cross-functional execution, and ensure projects within the insurance domain are completed on schedule and within scope. Job Description

• Lead and manage end-to-end software development projects within the insurance domain from initiation to delivery.
• Plan, track, and manage project scope, schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables using tools like Jira.
• Coordinate daily execution across cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, and QA Engineers.
• Facilitate project meetings, daily standups, sprint planning, and status reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify project risks, technical dependencies, and bottlenecks, developing effective mitigation plans.
• Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders, delivering clear progress updates and executive reports.
• Ensure all deliverables meet client expectations, technical requirements, and quality standards.
• Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and timeline impacts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, risk logs, milestone metrics, and post-project reviews.
• Drive team alignment, accountability, and productivity to ensure smooth project delivery.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years experience as an IT Project Manager or Project Lead handling software development initiatives.
• Hands-on project experience in the insurance or financial services industry is required.
• Strong proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong leadership, task prioritization, and risk management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage tight project deadlines.
• Available for an immediate start (ASAP).
