IT Project Manager – IT Integration & Process Improvement

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support a growing IT organization in the San Diego area. This role will help integrate new and expanding IT capabilities while bringing strong project management, IT process knowledge, and organizational discipline across multiple initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of IT project management experience and the ability to work across both application and infrastructure/hardware-related projects. Strong application/project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate IT projects from planning through implementation and closeout.
• Support the integration of new IT capabilities as the organization continues to grow.
• Establish and improve IT project processes, standards, and documentation.
• Work with IT, business, application, infrastructure, and other cross-functional teams to drive projects forward.
• Manage project scope, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Translate business and IT requirements into actionable project plans.
• Coordinate multiple projects and priorities in a growing and evolving IT environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, and collaboration across IT initiatives.
• Work with stakeholders and leadership to provide project status, risks, and recommendations.
• Adapt to evolving technology and system requirements as the client's IT environment develops.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Experience managing projects involving IT applications and/or infrastructure/hardware.
• Strong understanding of IT processes, project lifecycles, and cross-functional IT operations.
• Application/project experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working in a growing or changing IT organization.
• Strong communication, organization, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with technical and business teams.
• Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and reporting.

Project Details

• Location: San Diego Area, CA
• Work Arrangement: Onsite at least 3 days per week

Pay: $101,275.05 - $121,965.66 per year
