IT Project Manager (with POS experience)

KEY ROLE:

• Evaluate and recommend solution designs, technical proposals, and functional specifications.
• Prepare project estimates, budgets, cost analysis, and resource plans.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project plans, WBS, timelines, dependencies, milestones, and critical paths.
• Manage stakeholders, communications, governance, approvals, and project reporting.
• Manage vendors, procurement activities, RFPs, contracts, and third-party deliverables.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, change requests, and escalations, including mitigation and contingency planning.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, governance, and organizational standards.
• Coordinate solution design reviews, testing, data migration, implementation, deployment, and production readiness activities.
• Ensure project documentation is complete, approved, version-controlled, and maintained in designated repositories.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, status reviews, and communications with business owners, sponsors, project teams, vendors, and support groups.
• Prepare and deliver training, knowledge transfer, operational handover, and transition to support teams.
• Conduct project closure activities including acceptance sign-off, lessons learned, and post-implementation review.

Required Experience:

• Extensive experience in retail Point-of-Sale (POS) solution implementation, deployment, and rollout projects.
• Successfully managed at least one (1) large-scale POS implementation involving 100+ retail store locations distributed across multiple geographic regions.
• Proven experience overseeing end-to-end project delivery, including business requirements, solution design, system integration, testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with business stakeholders, store operations, IT teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and third-party service providers.
• Experience managing pilot deployments, phased rollouts, cutover activities, hyper care support, and issue resolution across geographically dispersed locations.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, POS systems, store connectivity, payment integrations, and related retail technologies.
• Proven track record of delivering multi-site retail technology projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Others:

• Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field, preferably BS Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least five (5) years of experience in an IT Project Manager or similar project leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects using Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Project management certification (e.g., CAPM, PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, Agile certification) is an advantage but not required.
• Must be willing to work in E-com Plaza, MOA Complex, Pasay City, compressed time 9am to 730pm Monday to Friday.

Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php90,000.00 per month
