IT QA Manager

About the role

A growing technology company working with international clients is seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead and elevate its quality assurance function. In this role, you will define and drive the QA strategy across a range of software products, including web and data-driven applications, ensuring everything delivered meets high standards of quality and reliability. You will build and lead a team of QA engineers, partner closely with product, development, and project teams, and act as a key quality partner in client-facing engagements. This role suits a quality-driven leader who enjoys building strong processes, mentoring teams, and championing quality across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement QA strategies, policies, and procedures across the company's software products.
• Build, lead, and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the main point of contact for QA matters, reporting test status, risks, and quality insights to stakeholders and senior management.
• Partner with development, product, and project management teams to embed QA best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Oversee the design and execution of test plans, test cases, and scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• Engage with clients to understand their quality expectations and ensure deliverables meet their standards.
• Drive the adoption of modern testing tools, automation, and methodologies.
• Define, track, and report on key quality metrics, using data to drive improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, including a proven track record as a QA Manager, QA Lead, or in a similar quality leadership role.
• Hands-on experience testing web applications and a solid grasp of modern web technologies.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes across the full testing lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing a QA team.
• Experience defining QA strategy and driving process improvement.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Professional-level English, with the confidence to communicate with international clients and stakeholders in writing and verbally.
• A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and a quality-first mindset.
