Job Description

We are looking for a QA Tester Intern to join our development team and gain hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn software testing processes in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Manager and Developers to understand project requirements and functional specifications.
• Execute test cases and accurately document and report defects.
• Perform regression and retesting of resolved issues to ensure proper fixes.
• Assist in creating, updating, and maintaining test cases and QA documentation.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce, investigate, and help resolve reported issues.
• Participate in team meetings and provide updates on testing progress and identified issues.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve testing processes and procedures.
• Support other QA-related activities as assigned by the team.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software development and software testing concepts.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to identify, document, and clearly communicate software issues.
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
