IT Release Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end release lifecycle across development, testing, and production environments.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely release implementation.
• Develop and maintain a centralized release calendar covering multiple projects and systems.
• Plan and coordinate release schedules, deployment windows, and implementation cycles.
• Identify potential release risks, address issues, and implement mitigation plans to prevent delays and maintain quality.
• Track release progress to ensure successful, timely, and high-quality deployments.
• Facilitate release readiness assessments, milestone reviews, and go/no-go meetings.
• Prepare and maintain deployment plans, implementation procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) and change control meetings to review release plans, risks, dependencies, and potential blockers.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of release management processes, including release planning, scheduling, coordination, and deployment across multiple systems and project portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Release Management, Project Management, or Service Transition.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• ITIL certification is an advantage.
• Experience in deploying packaged applications is a plus.

Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php85,000.00 per month
