We are looking for an IT Release Manager / Scrum Master

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and coordinate the end-to-end release process, ensuring deployments are properly planned, validated and executed according to established procedures.
• Oversee Jira ticket planning and ensure compliance with release protocols, timelines and required approvals.
• Manage Git branches, merges and package creation, identifying and resolving merge conflicts to ensure stable and consistent deployments.
• Prepare production releases by compiling delivery manifests and documenting the technical and operational steps required for deployment.
• Schedule, coordinate and lead regular release alignment meetings with technical and business stakeholders.
• Monitor the overall release landscape, identifying dependencies, risks, blockers and potential impacts on production.
• Make timely and informed decisions in high-pressure situations, including postponing or aborting releases when stability or quality cannot be guaranteed.
• Act as the main point of contact for external teams, providing clear communication on release status, requirements, timelines and technical specifications.
• Support Agile teams in applying Scrum principles and continuously improving their ways of working.
• Facilitate Scrum events when required and support Product Owners and Development Teams in backlog management, prioritization and delivery.
• Identify and remove impediments affecting delivery and foster team autonomy, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices across the organization.

PROFILE & SKILLS

• 9+ years of professional experience, preferably in Release Management, Scrum Master, IT Project Management or Agile environments.
• Expert-level knowledge of Git is mandatory, including branching strategies, repository management, merges and complex conflict resolution.
• Strong experience with release management and production deployment processes.
• Good knowledge of Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong understanding of software delivery workflows and IT production environments.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly when managing complex or time-critical situations.
• High level of rigor and attention to detail, with a strong focus on quality and risk management.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple releases, workflows and stakeholders simultaneously.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to remain effective under pressure.
• Excellent communication and meeting facilitation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in international and cross-functional environments.
• Strong understanding of Scrum Master responsibilities, including team coaching, facilitation, impediment removal and Agile transformation.
