IT- Returns Officer

As an IT Returns Officer, your main responsibilities include: Job Responsibilities

• Receive, document, and monitor returned IT equipment and devices.
• Inspect returned items and coordinate with IT for assessment, troubleshooting, repair, or replacement.
• Maintain accurate records of returned assets, including serial numbers, condition, and status.
• Coordinate with employees, departments, vendors, and logistics teams regarding returns and replacements.
• Ensure proper processing and disposition of defective, damaged, or unused IT equipment.
• Prepare reports and update inventory and asset management records.
• Ensure returned IT assets are properly accounted for and handled in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist in maintaining accurate IT asset inventory and tracking records.
• Monitor the status of returned equipment and follow up on pending repairs, replacements, or dispositions.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Preferably with experience in IT asset management, inventory, logistics, or equipment returns.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, and IT equipment.
• Familiarity with asset tracking, inventory systems, or documentation processes is an advantage.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
