Job Title: IT Scrum Master

Duration: 6+ Months

Job Summary:

Client is seeking an experienced IT Scrum Master to support multiple Agile teams within a cybersecurity data and analytics environment. This role will be responsible for enabling effective Agile delivery, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching teams on Agile best practices, removing impediments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing multiple teams, fostering Agile maturity, and working with enterprise Agile tools such as Jira and ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Manage and support 2–3 Agile teams while ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams.
• Partner with Product Owners and leadership teams to maintain healthy backlogs and support short- and long-term planning.
• Identify, escalate, and remove delivery impediments impacting team performance.
• Protect teams from external disruptions to maintain focus and productivity.
• Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Foster an environment of collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Monitor team health, delivery metrics, and performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support Agile transformation initiatives and encourage adoption of Agile best practices.
• Manage dependencies and coordination between teams and stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and influence across various organizational levels, including managers, directors, product owners, and team members.
• Facilitate effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Required Qualifications

• Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to lead meetings and engage diverse stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience serving as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
• Experience working with Scrum and Scrumban methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage and support multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
• Expert-level experience with Jira and ServiceNow .
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to proactively identify and resolve impediments to delivery.
• Experience coaching teams and driving Agile maturity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to cybersecurity, data analytics, or security operations environments.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices and Agile project management methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to tailor Agile practices to meet team and business needs.
• Strong presentation, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Agile certifications such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or SAFe Agilist .
• Bachelor's degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of overall professional experience with significant experience in Agile delivery environments.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
