IT Security & Support Specialist - BTS Phrom Phong

About the role

This role combines IT Operations & Infrastructure Management with IT Security Controls & Compliance Support. You will manage end-user hardware across macOS and Windows environments, administer Google Workspace for user access management, oversee small office network infrastructure including UniFi Firewall/Switch and CCTV systems, and maintain IT asset registers and lifecycle processes. You will also utilize Wazuh for endpoint monitoring and threat detection, execute patch management and vulnerability assessment activities, perform access reviews and backup testing, and assist in implementing IT security controls and incident response tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Support and manage end-user hardware (macOS and Windows), including provisioning, software deployment, and agent health monitoring
• Administer Google Workspace (Google Admin Console) for user onboarding, offboarding, and role-based access management
• Oversee small office network hardware (1 UniFi Firewall/Switch), CCTV systems, and a mini-rack setup (3–4 devices), performing routine preventive maintenance
• Maintain an up-to-date IT asset register and define endpoint/equipment lifecycle management processes
• Create and maintain standard software checklists, system administration procedures, and operational SOPs
• Utilize Wazuh (SIEM/EDR) for endpoint monitoring, threat detection, and log analysis
• Execute periodic patch management, coordinate Vulnerability Assessment / Penetration Testing (VA/Pentest) activities, and track remediation
• Perform periodic access reviews and conduct routine backup & disaster recovery testing
• Assist in implementing internal IT security controls, building security awareness materials, and supporting incident response tasks

About you

• 1–3 years of experience in IT Support, System Administration, or IT Security Operations
• Proficient in troubleshooting and managing both macOS and Windows environments
• Hands-on experience with Google Admin Console, Tailscale (or similar Zero Trust VPN solutions), and basic exposure to Wazuh (or similar SIEM/EDR platforms)
• Familiarity with basic networking concepts (UniFi hardware experience is a plus), CCTV setups, and rack-mounted equipment maintenance
• Solid understanding of core security concepts (patching, access control principles, backup verification, asset inventory)
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional support
• Language Skills: English - intermediate and above
