IT Security Business Analyst

• Gather, analyze and document business and functional requirements for Capital Markets / Securities applications
• Work closely with business users, technology teams, product owners and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define solutions
• Translate business requirements into BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, user stories and process flows
• Analyze securities trading and post-trade processes, including trade capture, processing, settlement, clearing and reconciliation
• Support requirements related to SWIFT securities messaging and ISO 15022 / ISO 20022
• Analyze system interfaces, data flows, reference/static data and downstream/upstream dependencies
• Support functional testing, SIT/UAT, defect analysis and production issue resolution
• Identify process gaps, perform impact analysis and recommend functional improvements
• Ensure requirements align with applicable regulatory, compliance and securities-processing standards

Mandatory Skills

• 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Consultant or Functional Solution Consultant
• Strong experience in Capital Markets / Securities IT
• Good understanding of SWIFT, ISO 15022 and/or ISO 20022
• Strong combination of Securities domain knowledge and IT functional analysis
• Excellent requirement-gathering and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities
• Experience working in complex Banking / Financial Services environments
