IT Security

Education

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Cyber Security / Computer Science or security related fields.

Work Experience

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in IT Security or Cyber Security or Network Administrator who handled Security appliance (such as firewall, etc)
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship, project, certification, or practical experience may also be considered.

Technical Knowledge & Skills

• Good understanding of fundamental Cyber Security / Information Security concepts.

• Understanding of Network Security is a plus.

  Basic knowledge of:

• Network, TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall, VPN, Proxy, and related technologies.

• Endpoint Security / EDR / Antivirus.

• Identity & Access Management (IAM).

• Vulnerability Management and Patch Management.

• Incident Response and basic security investigation.

• Knowledge in AI Security is a plus.

  Familiar with common security frameworks and standards such as:

• ISO 27001

• NIST Cybersecurity Framework

• CIS Controls

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to identify security risks, issues, and potential impacts.
• Able to analyze information and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Detail-oriented and able to work with multiple projects or priorities.

Preferred Certifications

One or more of the following certifications would be an advantage:

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
• Other relevant Cyber Security certifications.
