About the Role

PQMS is seeking a highly skilled IT Security Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in IT security. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure IT systems and networks, mitigating risks, and responding to security incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement secure network solutions to defend against advanced cyber threats.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks to IT systems and data.
• Perform vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments.
• Respond to all system and/or network security breaches.
• Ensure that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
• Participate in the change management process.
• Conduct training and provide security awareness guidance to IT staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an IT Security Engineer or in a comparable position.
• Comprehensive knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication mechanisms, and security systems.
• In-depth technical expertise in database and operating system security.
• Practical experience with security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, and authentication solutions.
• Possession of professional certifications in information security (such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) is advantageous.
