IT Security Operations Officer (SOC Analysts)

Job Location:

• Head Office, Phnom Penh

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Effective monitoring of security systems and alerts.
• Timely reporting and escalation of security incidents.
• Accurate security event documentation and log monitoring.
• Monitor security alerts from SIEM and monitoring systems.
• Assist in security incident investigation and response activities.
• Support threat detection and analysis.
• Maintain security monitoring logs and documentation.
• Assist in implementing security controls for network, server, and endpoint systems.
• Assist in preparing daily and weekly security reports.
• Support password management and security monitoring tasks.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.

Key Selection Criteria And Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in IT security or IT infrastructure operations and 1 year of working in banking or financial service industries.
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles and security monitoring tools.
• Certification such as CEH, Cisco CyberOps Associate or equivalent is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint detection, and forensic tools.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in high-stakes security incidents.
• Good at English speaking, writing and listening
• Computer literacy, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, Khmer typing and English.
• High level of professionalism and discretion, responsibility, accountability, and commitment.
• Good personal characteristic, including soft, friendly and good communication skills and ability to work in a team spirit.
• Willingness frequently to travel to the wide branch network offices.
