IT Security (Red)

Role Description This full-time, on-site IT Security (Red) role at TechTiera Services Indonesia is based in Jakarta. The role focuses on offensive security activities, including planning and executing penetration tests, red team exercises, and vulnerability assessments across networks, applications, and infrastructure. The IT Security (Red) professional will identify security weaknesses, develop proof-of-concept exploits, and document findings with clear, actionable remediation steps. The role includes collaborating with blue team and IT operations to validate fixes, improve security controls, and refine detection and response capabilities. Daily responsibilities also involve staying current with emerging threats, attack techniques, and security tools, and contributing to security standards, playbooks, and training materials.

Qualifications

• 3 Years experienced in IT Security (Red).
• Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including threat modeling, attack vectors, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Network Security, including penetration testing of network devices, protocols, and configurations.
• Experience in Application Security, including code review, web and mobile application testing, and secure development practices.
• Broad knowledge of Information Technology environments, including operating systems, cloud platforms, databases, and virtualization.
• Proficiency with offensive security tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, Wireshark, Kali Linux) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Ability to produce clear technical reports and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, CEH, GPEN, or similar are preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, with attention to detail and ethical conduct.
