Reporting to: IT Software Lead

The Senior Software Engineer - Web and Mobility is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web and mobile applications. This role involves working on complex software projects, leading development efforts, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Other requirements include the following:

• Lead the design and architecture of large-scale web and mobile systems, emphasizing scalability, performance, and security
• Develop, enhance, and maintain top-quality web and mobile applications, leveraging advanced coding practices and design patterns
• Conduct thorough code reviews, mentors team members, and advocates for code quality and maintainability best practices
• Focus on optimizing application performance for speed, efficiency, and scalability while implementing advanced security measures and leading security audits
• Provide technical leadership, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, maintain comprehensive technical documentation, resolves complex technical issues, participate in testing phases, stay updated on emerging technologies, and manage and lead development projects to ensure successful and timely delivery.

To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other related course
• At least five years related work experience
• Experience in web and mobile application development, including both front-end and back-end development.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., PHP, JavaScript, Java, Python, Swift) and web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, Vue.js).
• Knowledge of mobile app development for iOS and Android.
• Experience with database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Familiarity with API design and RESTful principles.
• Preferably with people management experience
